\"latex-superman-comic-con-outfit-featured\"<\/a>Comic-Con 2015 exploded with creative, awe-inspiring cosplay this year, from modern Marvel favorites to a few throwback costumes for a retro fix. Easily recognizable, Disney\u2019s Maleficient made an appearance, along with a detailed Loki costume so real it had us do a double take. Three girls stole the show as \u201cChewbacca\u2019s Angels\u201d dressed as a femme fatale team of imaginary Wookies of Star Wars fame in lavender, turquoise and pale pink. Using everything unconventional from plastic weaponry, fabrics such as latex<\/a>, wet look vinyl<\/a> and faux leather<\/a> to even pastel fur, cosplay fans worked magic to bring everyone\u2019s beloved characters to life.<\/p>\n

An instant classic, Catwoman was certainly no stranger to the San Diego Comic-Con this year, and one die-hard fan went for a head to toe look in wet look vinyl. With the pointed ear cat mask, O-ring choker, bustier and matching vinyl leggings, this Catwoman cosplay was definitely on point. Completing the look, this cosplay connoisseur strapped a fanny pack to keep all the con essentials and added full length gloves for a flair of drama. Equally badass, a striking Domino cosplay from X-men fame in wet look vinyl had heads turning. One cosplayer wore a fitted black vinyl bustier with a zip-up jacket and skin tight leggings. Six gun holsters, all white makeup and thigh-high lace up boots gave this look it\u2019s finishing touch.<\/p>\n

Wildly wonderful, another highlight was an all white latex Princess Leia costume. Featuring a form-fitting hooded outfit, she kept in character with a thick white belt at the waist and knee high silver lace up boots. Faux leather was used in abundance, ranging from a seriously kick butt Hellgirl costume to a fierce Harley Quinn outfit. Her intense make up definitely brought her Hellgirl character to life, complete with all red cosmetics, horns and a stone glove packing some knock out power. Her oversized faux leather jacket brought her character to the real world, and she styled the look with a leather gun holster, faded tights and lace up ankle boots.<\/p>\n

One of our personal favorites, one cosplay fan stopped convention traffic in her faux leather Harley Quinn costume. With her signature red and black color scheme, she rocked a red and black lace up corset bralette, adorned with D ring belt straps, spikes and detailed embroidery. She added full length, studded gloves and mismatched thigh-high boots in contrasting colors to bring Harley Quinn to life.
