Do it yourself blogger Emily Hart, owner of \u201cRecently The Blog\u201d bought a set of plastic stacking tables from a local thrift shop and revamped them into gorgeous interior decor. Using faux snakeskin fabric, this DIY connoisseur mod podged a set of simple white tables into something more. <\/p>\n<p>Nationally known, Hart has been featured in the likes of HGTV Magazine and Apartment Therapy for her crafty projects. Her materials were snakeskin fabric, a pair of scissors, a brush and a bottle of Mod Podge. Straight to the point, can you believe this tutorial only has four materials, accompanied by four simple steps? Let\u2019s find out more about this wizardry, and see how Emily Hart takes a plain table to new heights by transforming it into a work of art.<\/p>\n<p>First, Emily started things off by using the mod podge on the surface of the table, including the legs. Next, she covered the tables from head to toe with the snakeskin fabric. The next step is simple, just cut off any extra fabric and make sure it fits. Finishing things off, Emily put three layers of Mod Podge over top, but here\u2019s where it gets a little tricky. <\/p>\n<p>Make sure to remember to wait (patiently) for each layer of Mod Podge to dry completely before adding the next coat.
