  1. Gather your materials, which includes colorful patches of leather, a pair of scissors, a leather hole punch, fabric glue, matching thread, a leather needle, about 6 centimeters of 3 mm ribbon, four star sequins and a brooch back.<\/li>\n
  2. Take your leather fabric and cut out the shapes using the provided template.<\/li>\n
  3. Then, you’ll want to use the hole punch to create a clean scalloped edge.<\/li>\n
  4. Glue the white scalloped piece on top of the blue leather. The blue color should show through the lace holes in the frame shape. Use the red colored thread to sew a stitch around the inner edge.<\/li>\n
  5. Next, take the red ribbon and glue to the suede side of the mittens.<\/li>\n
  6. Create a loop with the mittens and center them in the middle of the circle, then glue into place.<\/li>\n
  7. Use the white thread to stitch all around the edges. You can use this time to add subtle details like snowflakes onto the mittens.<\/li>\n
  8. Next, use the gold thread to sew on the gold star sequins to the background for added effect.<\/li>\n
