Invite a little color into your wardrobe with this cute Pastel Studded Garter DIY, created by Tiffyquake. Also known as Cupquake, Tiffany is a Cal State Long Beach grad with a BFA in Illustration. Although this tutorial is one of her older ones, it\u2019s definitely an awesome choice. Make sure to follow her latest cosplay creations over at iHasCupquake<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. First, get your materials together, which includes pastel elastic garters, scissors, key heart rings, studs, hose grips and a needle and thread.<\/li>\n
  2. For this tutorial, she used three different colors of elastic to achieve a gradient effect. You could also opt for a single color design if you want!<\/li>\n
  3. Measure the width of your thigh, and cut out the elastic to fit.<\/li>\n
  4. Grab your heart key ring, wrap elastic around either sides, and sew in place.<\/li>\n
  5. After repeating that process for both straps, then you’ll want to attach the vertical elastic bands. Make sure to place your hose grips at the end of these straps.<\/li>\n
  6. Then, you’ll want to sew the straps together and make sure everything is in place.<\/li>\n
  7. For added flair, try adding studs or spikes to your garter. Tiff used a series of silver studs to match her heart key ring, but you could also use spikes or a combination of spikes and studs together for an edge look.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    The final product looks totally on point! We love the look, especially when paired with a matching lavender colored skirt and over the knee socks.<\/div>\n
