Her brand, \u201cNasty Gal\u201d is now based out of Los Angeles, and she still keeps things down to earth by having only a few hundred employees. Unlike many typical fashion retailers, Amoruso relies heavily on reaching out to customers using social media outlets, instead of typical marketing tactics.<\/p>\n

\u201cNasty Gal\u201d has become more than just a teen fashion giant, but rather a symbol for female empowerment. Women, not just teens, identify with the simple, sexy designs which ooze confidence, strength and femininity. Earlier this year, Amoruso penned her own memoirs in \u201c#GIRLBOSS\u201d which recounts her story from day one. Sophia gives plenty of behind-the-scenes stories from her own rise to success, including inspirational anecdotes and motivation.<\/p>\n
