The table top scissors are a huge design improvement over traditional scissors.  We absolutely adore them and if you do a serious amount of fabric cutting on a table top then you must get a pair. These are sometimes referred to as &#8220;V&#8221; wire although the shape can also be closer to a &#8220;U&#8221; and they are used to keep your material stationary in deep plunge bras, costumes, lingerie, or dance wear.
