In gearing up for Halloween we’ve added some new products. Metallic black latex sheeting in a variety of thicknesses. It’s a subtle difference from our standard black, but you will notice a metallic flake that is embedded in the material that adds a bit of additional sparkle to the material.
We also recently added double sided metallic orange and grey. Perfect timing for Halloween, and awesome for creating fashions where you get a glance at the inside of the garment. Think shirt collars, pockets, trim, etc.
Lastly, we continue to expand our products for corsetry. You can now find flat boning on MJTrends. It’s great for corsets where you want a really tight and structured fit – these things don’t bend, so they are perfect for waist training or heavy duty corsets made with thicker materials like our patent vinyl.

The metallic black latex seems like a nice upgrade from standard black without being too flashy. That embedded sparkle could really stand out on simple silhouettes.
Metallic black latex with a flake embedded sounds like it could photograph really well. I’d be interested to see how it compares side by side with your regular black.
Flat boning is a great move, especially for people making serious corsets. I like that you pointed out it doesn’t bend, because that’s exactly what’s needed for proper waist training.
I appreciate the suggestion of using the double sided material for pockets and trims. Those small details can really elevate a piece without requiring a full garment in that color.
The metallic black latex sounds really interesting, especially that subtle flake effect you mentioned. I’m curious how noticeable it is under different lighting, since that could make a big difference for evening wear.
The timing on the orange and grey double sided latex couldn’t be better for Halloween builds. I can already picture some reversible or peekaboo designs using that combo.
The expansion into corsetry supplies feels like a natural next step, especially with materials like patent vinyl already available. Having matching components is a big plus.
Flat boning that doesn’t flex at all is exactly what’s needed for heavy duty corsets. It’s good that you clarified it’s suited for thicker materials like patent vinyl.
Using the orange and grey double sided material for trims and collars is a cool suggestion. It’s nice to have something that looks intentional both inside and out.
The idea of catching a glimpse of the inside color with the double sided sheets is really appealing. It adds contrast without needing separate linings or extra layers.
That note about the metallic flake being subtle is helpful, since sometimes metallic finishes can be overpowering. Sounds like this keeps it wearable while still adding interest.
Glad to see you expanding beyond just fabrics into structural components like boning. It makes it easier to source everything for a corset project in one place.
Double sided metallic orange and grey is such a smart addition for Halloween projects. Being able to show the inside on collars and pockets without it looking unfinished opens up a lot of design options.
I’ve been waiting for more corsetry supplies here, so the addition of flat boning is really welcome. Pairing it with thicker materials like patent vinyl makes a lot of sense for structure.
