latex catsuits patterns

Hi all .

There is not a lot of basic information about creating cat suits on the web for beginners.  I have several questions. How can on measure himself  for the measurements? I have no one to measure me.  and How do I transfer the pattern to paper then to latex?

The suit I want to make would be more like a loos fitting catsuit and wear like clothing rather than a tight fitting suit. I want it to slip on and off like pajamas. 

any experts out there.
