Measure Book

Measure the entire width of the book you are covering including the font cover, spine, and rear cover. Also measure the height.

Cut the Metallic Pink Snakeskin Fabric

Cut 1 piece of fabric that is .5 inches wider and taller than your measurements (to allow for a 1/4 inch seam). Cut 2 inner panel peices that are 1 inch shorter than the width of the front panel and .5 inches taller than the height.

Finish the edges of the inner panels

Finish the inside edges of the inner panels by sewing a 1/4 inch straight stitch seam.

Pin and sew inside panels

Placing right sides together, pin the inner panels to the 1 large peice. Next, sew the 3 outer edges using a 1/4 inch seam.

Topstitch the spine

Fold over the excess fabric where the spine is and topstich it so that it is even with the remaining fabric.

Insert book into your cover

Insert your pillow into your new metallic pink snakeskin pillowcase and enjoy!
