Rita Ora Latex Fringe

rita-ora-latex-panty-featuredTaking things up a notch, Rita Ora went for an ultra-chic outfit for her performance at the Wireless Pre Festival Birthday Party. Forgoing her signature Marilyn Monroe tresses and bold red lip, singer Rita Ora went for extra-long extensions and a starry eyed surprise for her makeup this time, exactly just what it takes to make a statement. Ora turned heads in a leather bra and fringed latex shorts during her recent performance on the Main Stage at Finsbury Park in London.

With a wavy side part hairstyle teamed with her all black leather look, Rita evoked a blonde bombshell with an edgy sense of femme fatale. Going for a glam makeup look, Ora donned a set of golden stars on her cheeks and kept her retro-inspired vibe with bold cateye liner. Black and gold was certainly a theme for this killer look, with the singer opting for chunky gold triangle earrings and stacked gold bracelets for accessories.

Her first show in the UK this year, Rita gave an electrifying performance, singing her hits, “R.I.P.”, “How We Do” and her brand new track, “Poison”. All eyes were on her and that of-the-moment leather bra top, featuring layers of bondage-inspired harness straps, O-rings and belt clips to keep things under control. Keeping things cheeky, Ora sported a pair of high waisted latex shorts with extra long fringed latex tassels.

Later, as temps began to drop, Rita layered on a boyfriend style leather motorcycle jacket. Rita went all out, choosing a jacket with detailed Baroque inspired embroidery on the arms and quilted padding for added insulation. To complete the look, Ora rocked a pair of sheer tights tucked into studded ankle boots. The popular songstress has been a fashion icon for some time now, but by judging by this outfit alone, we want an encore!

The mix of sheer tights and studded ankle boots grounded the outfit nicely, otherwise the latex fringe might have leaned too costume-like on stage.

Her setlist with “R.I.P.” and “How We Do” alongside “Poison” must have matched the high-energy look perfectly, especially with all that stage movement.

I like that the jacket had quilted padding and embroidery, because it adds a functional layer while still keeping with the overall dramatic styling.

I appreciate how the accessories stayed within the black and gold palette, especially the chunky triangle earrings, which matched the boldness of the outfit.

That Baroque embroidered motorcycle jacket was a smart addition once it got colder, adding texture and depth instead of just throwing on something plain.

The cateye liner with star accents felt like a clever nod to retro glam while still fitting the edgy leather and latex combo she wore.

The fringed latex shorts with those extra long tassels must have looked incredible in motion, especially during songs like “Poison.” It’s cool how the black and gold theme tied everything together without feeling overdone.

It’s interesting that this was her first UK show of the year, and she chose such a statement outfit instead of something safer or more familiar.

I liked how she ditched the classic red lip and went for those gold stars on her cheeks instead, it made the whole look feel more playful and less predictable.

Sage Bennett

Her switch to extra-long extensions really changed the vibe, especially with the blonde bombshell reference, giving it a modern twist rather than retro copycat.

The bondage-inspired bra top with O-rings and harness straps sounds intense, but pairing it with a wavy side part kept it from feeling too harsh.

The whole look feels very intentional, from the harness details to the gold accents, rather than just piling on trends for the sake of it.

The high-waisted cut of the latex shorts probably balanced out the cropped leather bra, keeping the silhouette flattering despite all the fringe movement.
