Gwendoline Christie Stuns in Latex

latex-outfit-Gwendoline-ChristieSay hello to Brienne of Tarth! Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie embraces her inner Catwoman with a latex look for LOVE Magazine. No stranger to dramatic costumes, Gwendoline is well known for her chrome clad role of Captain Phasma in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Set in London, the ominous clip starts with a shot of hands covered with a pair of latex gloves. The black and white effects add a cinematic effect, showing a dark cityscape with only the Gherkin building lit up. Next, Gwendoline is shown amidst the darkness, her face obscured by a dark black latex mask.

During the clip, Christie certainly amps up the volume as she struts through an abandoned warehouse building in Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos. With styling direction from Steve Morris, Gwendoline sports a form-fitting all black latex catsuit, highlighting her hourglass figure. The catsuit features a plunging v-neck design, showing off a little bit of bling by way of a piece of Boucheron jewellery. Looking chic, Christie rocks a slicked back hairstyle and black mask with latex cat ears to accessorize her superhero-inspired look. Just when we’re all completely captivated by these ultra dramatic effects, Gwendoline rips off her mask and reveals a huge grin.

Watch the full video for a little bit of festive cheer, a laugh out loud Chewbacca impersonation, and a full dose of latex inspiration. Want to make a catsuit of your own? The abandoned warehouse combined with the slicked-back hair and mask gave it a real comic-book villain vibe, not just a standard editorial.

Logan Wren

The plunging v-neck catsuit paired with that single piece of jewelry was a smart styling choice, keeping the focus on the latex without over-accessorizing.

Finley Hart

The black and white London setting with only the Gherkin lit really set the tone, and the slow reveal from latex gloves to full catsuit felt cinematic rather than just a fashion shoot.

Parker Jules

Using the Gherkin as the only lit landmark in the skyline was a cool touch, giving the whole shoot a distinctly London identity while keeping it moody.

Avery Morgan

That moment where she rips off the latex mask and grins completely shifts the mood, especially after all the ominous warehouse strutting in those Zanotti heels.

Rowan Pierce

The detail about the sheeting having a gloss side and a dull adhesion side was actually useful, especially if someone wants to recreate that sleek Catwoman finish.

Alex Monroe

The way the video starts with just gloved hands and builds up to the full reveal of the latex mask and catsuit felt really deliberate and well-paced.

Kendall Reese

Her Chewbacca impersonation at the end caught me off guard after all that intensity, and it made the whole video feel more playful than it first appears.

Parker Jules

Seeing Gwendoline Christie in something so form-fitting and styled with cat ears is a big departure from Brienne, but it still feels powerful rather than just sexy.

Casey Rowan

I appreciated the mention of different thicknesses from 0.20mm to 0.80mm, since that actually affects how structured or flexible a catsuit ends up being.

Jamie Brooks

I liked how they leaned into her past roles, especially the contrast between Captain Phasma’s armor and this glossy catsuit with the plunging neckline and Boucheron piece.
