Fergie Stretch PVC Bodysuit

fergie-black-latex-bodysuitFergie is always known for stealing the spotlight. Her recent performance at a charity gala in Philadelphia was no exception to the rule, where the singer hit the stage in a daring bodysuit made from stretch pvc. The 41-year old singer slayed in a fitted black bodysuit with matching thigh high boots.

Evoking a pair of fierce racing stripes, the look featured thin white lines along the sides. Boldly flaunting her figure, Fergie switched between layering a prim white blazer and a shimmery bomber jacket during the concert overtop to add texture. She accessorized the look with a pair of black leather fingerless gloves and completed her look with winged cat eyeliner.

Later in the evening, her Black Eyed Peas bandmate Taboo snapped a picture together. He matched Fergie’s black and white look, showing up in an asymmetrical leather tunic, layered over moto-inspired skinny jeans. Fergie definitely wow-ed the crowd all night long, and later announced her plans to have another baby with her husband, Josh Duhamel in the near future.

Interesting how Taboo coordinated with her black and white palette using that asymmetrical leather tunic and moto skinny jeans, it makes the photo moment feel intentional.

A stretch PVC bodysuit sounds intimidating to wear, but the way it was styled with layers like the blazer makes it seem more approachable for real outfits.

I didn’t expect the racing stripe effect from thin white lines, but it’s a clever way to break up an all-black bodysuit and emphasize movement on stage.

Those thigh high boots paired with a fitted bodysuit must have created a really strong silhouette, especially under stage lighting.

Jamie Brooks

Switching from a crisp white blazer to a shimmery bomber jacket was a smart move, it kept the look dynamic without losing the edgy vibe of the black PVC base.

The mention of the charity gala setting makes the boldness of the outfit stand out even more, it’s not your typical safe event look.

Parker Jules

Her choice of simple black and white accessories kept the focus on the bodysuit, which is probably why the racing stripe detail stands out so much.

Kendall Reese

I appreciate that the article highlighted texture changes with the bomber jacket, because PVC alone can be very sleek and one-note without layering.

Riley Harper

The coordination between her eyeliner, gloves, and boots keeps everything cohesive without over-accessorizing, which can easily happen with such a statement outfit.

Logan Wren

The detail about the fingerless leather gloves and winged cat eyeliner really completes the image for me, it feels very Fergie and ties the whole outfit together.

I like that the article mentions her age, because it challenges the idea that bold, body-hugging looks are only for younger performers.

That quick note about her announcing plans for another baby right after such a high-energy performance adds an interesting contrast to the fierce stage persona.

Seeing PVC suggested as something to incorporate into everyday wardrobes is intriguing, especially if styled down with pieces like a simple blazer as described.

Emerson Gray

That stretch PVC bodysuit with the thin white racing stripes sounds incredible on stage, especially paired with those thigh high boots. I like how she softened it with the white blazer between songs.

Sydney Lane

The idea of using stretch PVC instead of traditional latex makes sense, it’s likely more comfortable while still giving that glossy, high-impact look.
