Jacqui Ryland knows a thing or two about causing mayhem, on and off television screens. Jacqui totally took things to another level after she revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Pete Wicks, was supposedly talking to her while he was still dating Megan McKenna. Wicks and McKenna are known for their roles on the popular Brit soap opera, TOWIE.
Never one to shy away from a little controversy, Jacqui stole the spotlight while heading out on Halloween to the Swankys Qube Project. Instead of playing it safe, Jacqui went for a wild Halloween costume, dressing up as a ringmaster from a circus, with a bloody twist.
She called her look a lion tamer that was mauled, but we’ve certainly never seen anything quite like this one before. Jacqui sported a barely there latex bustier, complete with red and black stripes, grommets and belt attachments at the chest. She matched her look with a lace up latex corset at the front, and layered a dramatic jacket over top.
To complete her look, she went for some special effects makeup, including slash marks over her eye and on her throat, and let her hair loose in thick wavy curls. Keeping things sultry, she sported a pair of knee high boots and walked around with a dangerous looking leather whip.

Walking around with the leather whip and knee-high boots really sells the character, not just the outfit. It feels like she committed to a full persona, not just a Halloween costume.
The mauled lion tamer concept is such a clever twist, especially with the slash makeup over her eye and throat tying the whole look together. It makes the latex bustier feel more costume than just clubwear.
I like how the red and black striped latex bustier with grommets leans into that circus ringmaster vibe, but the distressed makeup pushes it into something darker and more memorable.
That layered jacket over the lace-up latex corset adds a lot of drama, which balances out how minimal the bustier is. Without it, the look might have felt incomplete.
The article mentions her TOWIE drama, but honestly the costume steals the spotlight more than any headline. The bloody lion tamer angle is weirdly creative and hard to pull off well.
I appreciate the detail about the thick wavy curls, since softer hair contrasts nicely with the harsh slash marks and structured latex pieces. It keeps the look from feeling too costume-shop basic.
