Garter Clips?

Has anyone ordered and used the garter clips from mj? i have had issues in the past with garter lcips not staying in place to hold up stockings, i did find some vintage clips that claim to not have this issue but i was wondering if mj's stays clipped or not. i had considered using old-fashioned style garter clips that have the metal ends that you clip on but i am concerned with having the metal on the latex as i am pretty sure it is not stainless steel but i could be wrong. i have garters i made from mitten clips but tose use metal teeth to hold onto things so those definately would not be good, i use that type to hold up knitted thigh high legwarmers.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
