If you don't want to use MJTrends silicone lubricant (https://mjtrends.com/categories-Latex-Shine,Notions) you can use food grade silicone spray, the type used in meat slicers and grinders: https://www.grainger.ca/en/product/FOOD-GRADE-SILICONE-LUB-10OZ-AERO/p/LPSC01716?analytics=alternateProducts. I spray the PVC and even the sewing machine with it, it works great and cleans up easy.
