How pliable is Latex

I would like to know what is the give and take of latex. lets say you have 5 inches of latex, how far can that stretch to?

It depends on the gauge of latex - the thinner the gauge, the more it can stretch. The thicker the gauge, the less it will stretch. The .20mm latex sheeting can stretch about 100% - so 5 inches would stretch to 10 inches. The .50mm latex can only stretch about 40% - so 5 inches would stretch to about 7.5 inches.
