Am i doing something wrong with this adhesive?

So having finished a top using MJTrends adhesive, i let it cure for a day and a half and when i went to try it on, the seams just fell apart.

Far as i am aware i am using it correctly, i cleaned both seams with solvent, applied the glue and waited 15 minutes for it to uncurl and dry, stuck them together and fused with a roller. 36 hours of cure time later, every single seam i did with the inhouse adhesive just pulls apart with no effort whatsoever, but seams with a locally bought rubber cement hold perfectly fine.

Am i using the MJTrends adhesive inccorectly? Did i just get a bad batch?

Can you include a picture of the seam?  You can't use a traditional seam like if you were sewing, you have to glue the material flat on top of each other.  Checkout a latex tutorial video if you are unfamiliar:

Oh i am well aware of how latex seams work, that's why using the locally sourced rubber cement worked fine. The piece in question has both 1/4" and 1/2" seams on it, both of which came apart with almost no pressure at all using the MJTrends adhesive, but hold strong with the rubber cement.
