Email AppFeminine and daring are two words which spring to mind when browsing glam and gorg model Eugénie Grey’s ultra-chic Instagram feed. This LA native is no stranger to bold, monochromatic coordinates, creating a fiery contrast to her signature ashy-grey mane. Her sultry silver locks are definitely in-the-now, but this diva is hardly afraid of a little color, as Grey sported a range of pretty in pink pastel shades last year.
Looking effortlessly ethereal in many of her ensembles, it’s clear that Grey oozes a sense of confidence, style and finesse. Since the launch of her blog, “Feral Creature” in January 2013, this edgy it-girl has been jet-setting on a whirlwind of to-die-for fashion collaborations and adventures.
Favoring a muted palette of minimalist colors, such as black, white and grayscale tones, her street-chic style doesn’t play by the rules – she makes them. Heavily inspired by nostalgic 90’s grunge, Grey mixes things up with everything from asymmetrical crop tops, holographic motifs and shredded denim. Some of her more “sports luxe” inspired looks include pairing a sleek bralet or knotted cropped t-shirt with soft leather joggers for that off-duty model feel.
Some of our favorite summer looks ranged from her Bond-girl worthy cutout swimsuits and more understated, simple see-through mesh tops. Unafraid to experiment, Grey boldly displays her geometric tattoos in vinyl bustiers, as featured in Lip Service’s latest lookbook for Autumn/Winter 2014. Grey knows how to play with proportion, throwing an over-sized Acne biker jacket over a slinky maxi dress with a sexy side slit.
