With the first day of fall behind us, the countdown to this year’s Halloween has begun. Experiment and don some stretch leather halloween costumes, getting inspiration from comic book heroes and sci-fi favorites. Marvel super heroes like Captain America and Star Lord are armed and ready to go. Try the costume for yourself with an over-sized leather jacket or long leather trench coat.

Black Widow, better known as Scarlett Johansson’s mysterious femme fatale from Captain America, knows how to keep things spicy with a form-fitting leather bodysuit. In need of some more comic book inspiration? X-men’s Wolverine is a sure-fire fan favorite, featuring an armored suit with leather detailing and deadly claws.

Yukio from “Wolverine” is a perfect costume choice for a girly-meets-renegade look. If you’re looking to show a little skin, aim for the Old Town girls from “Sin City 2”. Rosario Dawson in her reprisal knock-out role as “Gail” looked ready to kill in a body-con leather bustier and sheer thigh highs. Assassins have never quite looked so good.

Hop out of the comic book pages and opt for some sci-fi and fantasy inspiration. Angelina Jolie looked royally magnificent in Disney’s summer blockbuster “Maleficent”. Get the goth-glam look for yourself with a regal leather dress, cape and sky-high horns for a devilish vibe. And what would Halloween be without a couple of vampires running around town?

Forget Dracula, “Underworld” is the modern revamp to seek inspiration from these days. Selene, Kate Beckinsale’s undying vampire warrior, can take out werewolves in a fitted corset and leather skinnies. Get ready for action and pair your costume with a floor-length leather trench and knee-hi buckled boots.

Another go-to costume for this year’s Halloween is Katniss Everdeen of “The Hunger Games” fame. Rock a side braid, slip into a curve-skimming leather bodysuit and bust out your bow and arrow. Keep your look up to date with some of these easy Halloween choices and may the odds be ever in your favor.
