You might be able to get away with mismatched hangers and dilapidated closet organizers, but a new set of leather leggings are an absolute wardrobe essential. From Miranda Kerr to Rosie Huntington-Whitely, models, singers and celebs of all types have been snapped wearing leather leggings out and about. A classic go-to item, take a cue from Kendall Jenner and simply toss on an oversized boyfriend sweatshirt, add leather leggings and a pair of pumps to complete an effortless look.
We love Rosie Huntington-Whitely’s angelic style, she opted for a true pair of motorcycle style leggings, complete with quilted padding around the knee and zips down the ankle. She added a feminine white blouse with floral cutout designs and a pair of snakeskin heels to contrast the tough and edgy leggings. Elegant and chic, Rosie finished the look with matching black polish, an olive colored jacket and a studded leather hobo bag for her travels.
Jazz things up a bit like Gigi Hadid and look for leggings with embellishment or laser cut designs. She chose patterned leather leggings with geometric designs as a standout piece for her outfit. Keeping things looking casual and cute, she wrapped a headscarf around her waist as a belt and added a berry-colored blazer for a pop of color. Not many of us can pull of those “#iwokeuplikethis” wispy hair tendrils like Gigi, but we’re loving how she plays with proportion in this look. Hadid wore cropped leather leggings which stopped right at the ankle, showing the teeniest bit of leg and accentuating those adorable pointed booties. Talk about a sweet summer look for heading out on the town!
