Looking chic as can be, Dakota Fanning gave off some serious glamour at a star studded event in New York City. Some might remember Dakota Fanning from her child star fame, or even her brief stint in Twilight, but it’s clear that the young starlet is all grown up. The 22-year-old actress looked darling in a floral bodice paired with a sleek PVC vinyl skirt for a recent Chanel event.

Joining the crowd at the Chanel Fine Jewelry event held at the New York Public Library, the actress played with contrast in a fresh, fun way. Dakota sported a white sleeveless top, embellished with tons of floral designs, contrasted by an edgy vinyl pencil skirt. She completed her look with a pair of silver ankle strap heels, tons of arm candy and a natural makeup palette.

The actress has been currently working on her latest film project, Please Stand By with stars like Alice Eve and Helen Hunt. Dakota has also mentioned her love of film and told Indiewire that she would like to pursue directing in the future.
