Ah, clear vinyl. There’s something a little nostalgic about the edgy fabric choice, especially when it comes to transparent backpacks. Add in an extendable choker and a double bun hairstyle, and one can’t help but get a reminder of sassy 90’s vibes.

Clear vinyl can also look chic and futuristic, too. Look to designers like Chromat for inspiration here, with models sporting super cool vinyl skirts over bondage wear. Pairing clear vinyl with white creates a unique, other-worldly effect. A white jacket looks clean and crisp on it’s own, but it looks just so chic when transparent panels are added.

The same can be said with a simple babydoll dress in a girly hue like lavender. Worn on it’s own, it’s sweet as can be, but when worn with a transparent layer overtop, it suddenly looks light years ahead of it’s time.

Clear vinyl works just as well for accessories too. A thick strap of vinyl could suddenly become a cool choker, with fun accents like spikes and florals added.
