Fashion blogger – Olivia Emily

faux-leather-skater-skirt-fabricHailing from London, fashion blogger Olivia Emily is known for her dreamy yet edgy sense of style. Inspired by alternative subcultures, many of her outfits evoke a strong goth and grunge-inspired aesthetic. We love her seriously awesome ginger colored hairstyle, which gives off total Sansa Stark vibes (from the most recent season!).

The 23-year-old is a product stylist and blogger who mixes everything from baby doll dresses and spiked garter accessories to PVC skirts with feminine, floaty tops. In one of our favorite looks, Olivia teamed a vintage varsity jacket over a silky black cami top, neatly tucked into a sleek black PVC midi skirt.

For accessories, she went with a thrifted Moschino belt and patent cut-out boots for a polished finish. The stylista knows how to turn heads with leather, too. Emily wore a leather wrap skirt layered over a pair of sheer tights and pointed booties. We love the contrast of a midi skirt with a long-sleeved cropped top for fall. Add a wide-brimmed fedora for a luscious autumn look.

Want to add PVC to your wardrobe, but unsure of how to do it? Take a few tips from Olivia Emily and pair with feminine accents. In one look, she wore a chic all black PVC skater skirt and paired it with a cut-out cropped top. Instead of revealing too much skin, she opted for a waterfall style kimono top and paired it with sheer black leggings.

The contrasting textures of sheer shiffon with sleek PVC definitely creates an eye-catching effect. In another look, Olivia opted for a similar PVC skater skirt paired with a mesh cut out top and a stylish sheer cardigan. Lace up booties with a chunky heel add a ton of attitude and edge, and keep this look from getting too girly. I liked how she used a wide-brimmed fedora with the cropped long sleeve and midi skirt, it really completes that autumn-ready aesthetic.
