Maybe you’re feeling inspired by Furiosa from Mad Max, or just keen on getting a tough, post-apocalyptic feel for your next look. If so, this is the perfect do it yourself tutorial for you to try. We’ve found a quick DIY to add spikes and create a post-apocalyptic style for lace up boots.
In this tutorial by SafetyPinner, the user created a base for her spikes and attached them to the boots using zip ties. For an alternative approach, use spikes and pierce the boots directly in order to attach them.
Depending on what style you prefer, you might even want to include studs on the sides of your boots, or mix them in together with the spikes.
