Latex to the office

wearing-latex-to-the-officeChelsea Peng, a writer over at Marie Claire magazine, decided to try the ultimate challenge…. sporting latex to the office! Inspired by Taylor Swift’s uber hot latex looks from her “Bad Blood” video, the team over at Marie Claire decided to give it a whirl.

Two employees opted for a classic version of the trend, wearing black latex skirts with button up blouses. Get the look for yourself by sporting a black latex skater skirt with a neatly tucked in button up blouse. Pair with loafers for a prim and proper vibe.
Or, take things up a notch with a sleek latex pencil skirt. A high waisted design creates a gorgeous silhouette, and ankle strap heels are an easy way to keep this look on trend.  Another member of the team went for a baby pink look, sporting a long-sleeved latex dress with an oversized bow at the neck.

Wearing cat eye glasses and keeping accessories to a minimum gave this look a retro-inspired feel. For a look that’s certainly in-the-now, opt for an eye-catching latex jacket. When layered over a crop top, it simply couldn’t look any cooler. For an edgier vibe, go for a latex catsuit.
To keep things from looking too risque, layer a duster cardigan overtop and wear with casual sneakers for more of an athleisure feel. If you’re dying to go all in, try sporting a full-on latex corset. Layer over a knee length dress and pair with strappy heels to give things a dressier touch.
Forget the Mannequin Challenge, you can turn heads wherever you go by trying this latex challenge for yourself, any day of the week.
