Fashion Icon Alexa Chung Stuns in PVC

When it comes to wearing PVC, it seems like Alexa Chung can do no wrong. The model and budding designer has been spotted in bold PVC outfits more often than not, literally stunning us all with her chic sense of style.

Awhile back, Alexa taught us all how to wear a vinyl skirt by sporting a style with tons of volume. Chung paired the big billowy skirt with a button up blouse for a vintage-inspired touch. We love the way she mixes modern trends, like PVC and vinyl, with her retro aesthetic.

On another occasion, Alexa Chung wore a charming vinyl pencil skirt in a cute shade of pink. Getting her Minnie Mouse on, she added a feminine blouse that was covered in polka dots for an extra sweet style. Try it out for yourself by pairing a pastel vinyl skirt with prints, like polka dots or stripes.

Last fall, Alexa amped up the volume with her look by sporting a set of seriously fierce vinyl pants. Always looking chic, Alexa wore a simple black tank teamed with a pair of slick patent vinyl pants. To keep warm, she added a baby blue chester coat and a matching black clutch for a neat finish.

When heading out to Glastonbury Festival, a popular music festival in the UK, Alexa also rocked another pair of sleek patent vinyl pants. This time, she kept things low key and added a pair of high rain boots to keep the slick mud away.

Known around the world as a style icon, the 33-year-old sported yet another PVC look in December. When heading out to the Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Club party, Alexa wore a PVC miniskirt paired with a striped knit sweater. Looking chic as ever, her ultra sleek black mini skirt featured an asymmetrical zipper and Alexa paired the look with black tights and strappy heels.

At the party, Alexa looked casual and cute with her green, white and gray knit sweater. Alexa has been hard at work with her Archive by Alexa collection, a collaboration she recently produced with Marks & Spencer. Many of the pieces were sold out in minutes, a testimony to Alexa’s charming and stylish appeal.

Caroline Wineberg seems to have taken a leaf from Alexa’s fashion notebook and also wore PVC trousers with a high neck knit top. Grazia has already forecasted that PVC skirts will be the most coveted fashion item of the entire year.
