Caci Twins Try Latex Prom Dresses

YouTube darlings Payton and Mikahl, also known as the Caci Twins, have been making some serious fashion buzz. With over 370,000 Subscribers on YouTube and 27 thousand followers on Instagram, the identical twins certainly know how to work their fashion magic.

The video bloggers have racked up a slew of fans, with their “Morning Routine Summer 2016” video clocking in at over 9 million views. Payton Caci and Mikahl Caci first started video blogging two years ago, and they often produce fashion hauls, challenges and videos about being an identical twin on their channel.

In a recent video, the twins took on a daring challenge by trying out a few latex prom dresses. The first number was a light shade of lilac purple, complete with a thick band choker at the neck and a pair of crossed straps at the bust. Featuring sultry caged detailing, this purple prom dress is certainly not for the faint of heart.

Another latex prom dress came in a fiery shade of red, complete with a mockneck style design and a hem which stopped just above the knee. The girls were just trying out these dresses to get more ideas for prom, but they opted for loose beachy waves and completed their looks with hoop earrings. For a bold and edgy style, try out a fitted latex dress. You’ll turn heads no matter where you’re headed, whether it’s to prom or a night out with the girls.

It’s interesting how their huge following from videos like the 9 million view morning routine gives them the confidence to try something as daring as latex prom looks.

I like that they admitted these were more about getting ideas for prom rather than final picks, because latex is definitely not for everyone even if it photographs well.

I appreciate that they didn’t over-accessorize, just hoop earrings and waves, because the latex dresses already had enough going on with the sheen and structure.

The contrast between the soft beachy hair and the bold red mockneck latex dress was my favorite part, it kept the look from feeling too over-the-top for prom.

Their channel usually does hauls and twin challenges, so seeing them step into something as bold as latex prom dresses felt like a natural but still surprising evolution.

Robin Tate

The red dress stopping above the knee gave it more of a party vibe than a classic prom gown, which could actually work for people wanting something less traditional.

Reese Palmer

What stood out was how identical styling still looked slightly different on each twin, especially with such form-fitting latex pieces that highlight every detail.

Jordan Blake

Seeing Payton and Mikahl experiment with latex instead of typical prom fabrics made the video feel fresh, especially since they treated it more like a styling test than a final outfit.

Rowan Pierce

The article made it clear these dresses aren’t for the faint of heart, and honestly the caged detailing on the lilac one proves that point immediately.

Marlowe Dean

I wasn’t expecting the lilac latex dress with the choker and caged bust to look that wearable, but the twins actually styled it well with the loose waves and hoops.

Reese Palmer

That purple dress with the crossed straps looked intense at first, but once they paired it with simple accessories it started to make more sense as a statement prom option.
