We have added 3 new colors of 6 guage clear vinyl: sky blue, orange, and pastel pink and there are 3 more new colors to come in the next couple weeks.
Our clear vinyl material is great for making rain jackets, apparel, table covers, water proof applications, boat windows, and more. The new colors are requests that you asked for and we are happy to be able to provide the colors that you need.
We especially love the pastels and the bright neon colors! These could make for extremely interesting fashion pieces or be the perfect thing for that craft project that you’ve been putting off.
We specifically make our clear plastic fabric with a higher softness rating. What this does is give a smoother feel to the hand, prevent wrinkles, and also cut down on some of the crinkling noise that can occur with plastic fashions. You won’t find a softer clear plastic for sale anywhere else.
If you are wondering how to work with clear plastic, there are two primary methods: sewing it and gluing it. We have our own proprietary vinyl adhesive that works to create a bond so strong that it’s so powerful that if you get a tear it most likely won’t be on the seam!
If you are going to sew clear plastic, then we recommend that you change your needles frequently and also use a longer stitch length. Stitches that are too close together can result in the material tearing down the length of the stitching from the small holes created by the stitches.
Are you wondering what you can make? We’ve got some great inspiration on our Pinterest page:

The addition of sky blue and pastel pink in 6 gauge is exactly what I’ve been waiting for, especially with that softer feel you mentioned reducing the usual crinkling noise.
It’s refreshing to see clear vinyl offered with a focus on feel and usability rather than just durability, since comfort matters for wearable pieces.
That neon orange sounds perfect for visibility projects like rain gear or even boat covers, and the higher softness rating would make it much more wearable.
The idea of using baby pink transparent vinyl for apparel is really appealing, especially since most clear materials tend to look too industrial.
The combination of transparency and color like sky blue could create some really unique layering effects in jackets or accessories.
The explanation about your proprietary adhesive being stronger than the material itself is interesting, especially for people who prefer gluing over sewing.
The mention of upcoming additional colors makes me curious what else is coming, especially if you continue in the pastel and neon direction.
I like that you highlighted uses beyond fashion like table covers and boat windows, because those projects benefit a lot from clearer, softer vinyl.
Good call pointing out how tight stitches can weaken the material, since people often assume more stitches means stronger seams with vinyl.
I appreciate the note about longer stitch length because I’ve definitely had vinyl tear along tight seams before, so that tip alone saves a lot of trial and error.
Nice to see practical sewing advice included, since changing needles frequently is something beginners often overlook when working with plastics.
These new colors seem ideal for finally tackling some postponed craft projects, especially with the option to either sew or use a strong adhesive depending on the design.
I’ve worked with stiff vinyl before and hated the noise, so the reduced crinkling and smoother hand you described really stands out as a big improvement.
Glad to hear you’re bringing in colors based on requests, because clear vinyl usually feels limited and these pastel options open up a lot more fashion possibilities.
That Pinterest inspiration link is helpful since it’s sometimes hard to visualize what clear colored vinyl looks like once actually made into garments.
