We’ve recently restocked some of our most popular spandex fabrics which were out of stock and we’ve also added some new spandex fabrics that you’ll adore.
Restocked: The carbon fiber and honeycomb spandex have been restocked. For those of you who were waiting – the delay is over!
New Spandex materials: We’ve added three new patterns of spandex stretch fabric: diamond print, black sparkle, and holographic. Additionally we’ve added a new category of spandex, which we are referring to as Rubtex. It’s a matte finish spandex with a feel that is similar to latex. Although it is not a rubber coating, it feels very similar and it is water repellent.

Sequin vinyl on spandex: Last but not least, we have sequined vinyl in a pallette of iridescent colors including purple, red, pink, silver, blue, and more. If you’re looking to create a costume that stands out, this is the material to use. While not as much stretch as spandex, the sequin material does have two-way stretch that could be used for leggings, dancewear, cosplay, the list goes on…

That Rubtex description caught my attention, especially the latex-like feel without an actual coating; curious how it handles over long wear compared to true latex.
The new diamond print and black sparkle options sound perfect for stagewear, especially since they still keep that stretch you need for movement.
Finally seeing the carbon fiber and honeycomb spandex back in stock is a relief, I had a project on hold for weeks waiting for those exact textures to return.
Holographic spandex plus those iridescent sequin vinyl colors feels like a great combo for cosplay builds that need to really pop under lights.
I like that you mentioned the sequin vinyl only has two-way stretch, that’s helpful when planning tighter garments like leggings or dance costumes.
Good to see a mix of restocks and new additions, especially since materials like honeycomb spandex aren’t easy to find elsewhere when they sell out.
